Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Can we take English (allopathic) medicines and Ayurvedic medicines together?
Yes, you can take both allopathic and Ayurvedic medicines simultaneously. At Shree Ayurveda, we recommend maintaining a 30-minute gap between the two to avoid any possible interactions. Many of our patients follow this practice safely. Our doctors ensure that both systems are aligned in the same direction of healing, providing a balanced and holistic approach to your treatment.
We have a team of specialists across various Ayurvedic disciplines. You can view their profiles and expertise on the “About Doctors” page of our website. If you’re unsure, you may first consult our Medical Officer or Senior Medical Officer, who will evaluate your condition and guide you to the right specialist based on your health concerns.

The duration of treatment in Ayurveda depends on multiple individual factors:

  • The severity and stage of your illness
  • Your body constitution (Prakriti)
  • Your immunity levels
  • Any co-existing systemic or chronic conditions
Your treating physician will guide you on the expected timeframe after clinical assessment.
